Welcome to The RBCo Blog

Who Am I?

Hello, I’m Rebecca! I’m the owner of the Rebecca Boler Company (RBCo). Born and Raised in Oshkosh, WI, I moved to Texas in 2001 to begin school at the University of Dallas. From studying business/law, to working a corporate job, to exploring commercial real estate, I was lucky enough that my path eventually led me to my dream job.

I first discovered Staging when I was selling my own home in Texas. I was impressed with the Stager’s work and the entire process (especially the relief of not having to prepare the house myself!) My realtor asked if I’d be interested in Staging and I took up a job working under the Stager who helped sell my home. Working with her, I fell in love with the art of Staging – taking both the beauty and the chaos of a home and creating a balanced, welcoming environment that speaks to potential buyers. I loved that there were so many ways that I could help my clients, and the vision of The Rebecca Boler Company was born.

While The RBCo is my passion, my biggest love is being a wife (to my husband Cass) and a mother of three (Madilyn, Brynlee, and Blayne). Our family loves any opportunity to soak in mother nature, from hiking & paddle boarding to gardening. My children are very active in horseback riding and gymnastics and watching them develop a passion for their hobbies is a heartwarming experience as a mom. Cass and I Iove comedy clubs, live music, and travel (although we don’t get enough of it!). I also love watching him paint and create art.

Why am I Starting a Blog?

I’m truly obsessed with my job and throughout my experiences helping families through life changes, I’ve learned a few things about creating a warm and welcoming home. At The RBCo, we don’t just Stage homes - we help people transition to new living circumstances or chapters in their lives. We organize homes to help busy families. We Stage to Live, which means we set up your home when you move to a new house. We also Stage to Celebrate...this service is a personal passion. I believe life's events should be celebrated with style and uniqueness. We also assist our clients with home remodeling and re-designs. My goal is to share some of these experiences with you!

While not everyone is interested in Staging, most people are interested in making their homes beautiful – especially in a world where everyone is spending more and more time in their homes. One of the comments I often get after an occupied Staging job is “Wow. I wish ya’ll would have done my house BEFORE we were moving out!” Too often, we get into a home design rut, and before we know it, our homes no longer reflect who we are. I want to help you “stage” your home for yourself and turn your home into an oasis.

What to Expect

I’ll be sharing a variety of blog articles, but here are a few examples blogs you can expect from me:

Get the Look: Ever find a picture you love on Pinterest and then find out it costs thousands of dollars? I’ll show you how to recreate it for cheaper.

Hygge Home: If you don’t know what Hygge is, you will soon. I’m in love with this Danish concept of creating a cozy home. I’ll share some tips on how to make your home feel happy, cozy, and warm.

Stage to Live: I’ll show you how you can bring Staging concepts into your own home.

Stage to Celebrate: I will share the most inspiring ways to celebrate the moments of your life.

DIY Design: Think wood garland, wreaths, and thrifted makeovers. You’ll also see some tips about creating art from my talented husband, Cass!

Lifestyle: If you have ever dreamed of creating a business and to follow your passion, this one’s for you. I haven’t always had a job I’m obsessed with – so I want to show you how I got where I am now and how I balance owning a business while being a mother of three.

I want this blog to be a place where you can ask questions and share your own stories. Please comment, reach out, and let me know what you want to hear more about. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and I hope to learn from my readers as well!

Rebecca

PS I couldn't help but share a few of my favorite pics of my tiny-humans!
